Hey y’all! I’m so glad you are here. Before you get started reading and browsing my website, I want you to learn about me.
I’m a southern girl. Born and raised in the heart of the Boston Mountains in Arkansas. I was raised on chocolate gravy & biscuits for breakfast and pinto beans & cornbread for dinner. Front porch sitting while drinking sweet tea and making memories with the cousins was an essential key to my childhood. My parents divorced when I was 9. We didn’t have much growing up, but we always knew that family was the key to life & Christ was the center of our home.
At 17 years old I became a Momma to an amazing daughter. I found myself in Iowa, and eventually made Iowa my home. It took a while to adapt this southern girl into a midwest girl, but it happened. 19 short months after becoming a Momma to my daughter, I became a boy mom too. At 19 I married my high school love, and we had a daughter 15 months after I had my son. We built our family on love, togetherness, & Christ. After almost 20 years together and 16 years of marriage, my high school love and I divorced. It was a devastating time for our family, but after over 2 years of knowing that our marriage wasn’t being surrounded by the same dreams & with God’s word to back my filing, the divorce became final.
After separation from my ex-husband, I spent much time in prayer and in God’s word. I found myself again. Someone that I had lost along the way in those 20ish years of being with my high school love. I tell you, finding myself again has been the greatest blessing for myself and my children. Which brought me to creating this website to share my love of life for all of you ladies and gentlemen out there just trying to live your best lives.
In finding myself, I can truly tell you who I am and what I love. I love my children with everything in me. They are my entire world. I love to workout. Running has become my favorite thing to do. I love to golf. Although, I’m not that good at it. Sandy beaches and tomato beers are my favorite. I enjoy time with my girlfriends. Laughs with my two besties are a must at least once a week. I love the south! I will always be a southern girl at heart. I think deep. I love to serve others for Christ. Cooking is my jam. Having a house full of teenagers makes my heart happy. I love Jesus, but I do cuss a little. Most of all, I love who I have become as a person. I’m just trying to live my best life and inspire others at the same time.
I hope that you leave my website inspired to live your best life, chase your dreams, and be all that you can be.
Much Love,
Jessica
